Coach Blue has a history playing for the Celtics in the mid and late 1990’s. Coach Blue played at Bryan High School and his coaching history began right after he graduated, coaching for the Bryan Soccer Association and their youth program. Coach Blue then began to coach for the Maumee Express followed by coaching with the Toledo Celtics. Coach Blue coaches and assists with the 2015 and 2016 girls teams. Coach Blue has completed the 4v4 online course, the 7v7 grassroots course, the 9v9 grassroots course, the 11v11 grassroots course and has recently completed and holds his US Soccer D license. 

Coach Jeff Chesser is a native of the Toledo area and has been a part of the Celtics family for over 20+ years as a player, parent, and coach. Coach Jeff was an Assistant Coach at Bowsher High School in 2011 for their Varsity soccer team.

Coach Jeff is currently an Assistant Coach for the 2012 and 2011 boys black teams. Coach Jeff is also a goalie coach and works with the goalies, ages 7-14. Coach Jeff has also played alongside Coach Yadi and Coach Yousef and was coached by Coach Lee during his years at the Toledo Celtics Soccer Club.

Coach Jeff bleeds green and black and has loved this club since joining as a youth. Coach Jeff has his Level 1 goalkeeper certification and his 7v7 and 11v11 grassroots certification. Coach Jeff completed his National D Coaching license in 2025.

Coach Jeff graduated from Bowsher High School in 2009 where he was the starting goalie all 4 years. During his high school career, Coach Jeff was named First Team All City and 2nd Team All State multiple years. Coach Jeff played for Toledo Celtics as a youth and played through his high school career.

Coach Jeff played 2 seasons with the University of Toledo club soccer team as the starting goalie. Coach Jeff has played for many years in adult soccer leagues and still currently plays in his free time, outside of coaching.

Coach McNutt’s coaching experience covers over 25+ years on the sidelines, with stops at Toledo Central Catholic Women’s Program (1996-2001), Toledo Celtics Soccer Club Coaching Staff (1996-2003), Owens Community College Men’s Program and Women’s Club (2002-2010), Northeastern Junior College Men’s Program (2010-2013), Toledo St. John’s Men’s Program (2014-2018), Maumee Soccer Club (2019-2021), Maumee Lady Panthers Program (2019-2024), ODP (2024-) and Toledo Celtics Soccer Club Coaching Staff (2024-). He has held the following positions along the way: Head Goalkeeper Coach, JV Head Coach, Assistant Head Coach, Program Director, Head Coach, Player Development Coach, and Tactical/Technical Coach.

Coach McNutt is a 1995 graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School. His soccer honors include being a 3-year varsity starting goalkeeper and a two-year captain. Immediately after graduation, Coach McNutt pursued his coaching career.

Coach McNutt is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Psychology. He also holds the following Coaching License/Certification; 1) US Soccer: "D" Coach License, 2) United Soccer Coaches: Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma, Blind Soccer Level 1 Diploma, Soccer Powered by Futsal Special Topics Diploma, 3) U.S. Association of Blind Athletes: Level 1 Blind Soccer License, 4) SwitchedOn Training: Cognitive-Motor Training (NASM/AFAA Approved)

Coach Jess is a dedicated and passionate youth soccer coach with a strong competitive playing background. As a former All-State player and Michigan High School Athletic Association record holder, she brings a high level of technical knowledge, leadership, and commitment to player development. Coach Jess has completed the U.S.S.F Grassroots 4v4, 7v7, and 11v11 coaching license courses.

Coach Logan began coaching with the Toledo Leprechauns in 2020. Currently, he coaches the 2016 boys black and green teams. He also assists with the 2019 boys. Coach Logan has been close with the club since his playing days and is very familiar with their philosophy and standards. 

Coach Logan played travel soccer for multiple travel teams growing up and with the Toledo Celtics during his high school years. He was a 4-year varsity player at Blissfield High School, where he earned all-county honors each year. He was selected to the Ohio North ODP state team in 2003-2004. Coach Logan traveled to England to play soccer with the Ohio North ODP team and to Sweden with the Toledo Celtics, where they advanced to the round of 16 at the youth World Cup (Gothia Cup). Coach Logan went on to play collegiately at Indiana Tech University.

Outside of soccer, Logan has an Exercise Science Degree from The University of Toledo and a Master's in Business Administration from Lourdes University.

Logan currently holds USSF Grassroots and National D Licenses.

Coach Ariel's playing experience includes Sol de America 1st Division youth teams from Paraguay, South America, U15-U19, and Lourdes Men’s Soccer Team from 2021-2023.

He was an International Student Athlete from Paraguay and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lourdes University in Sylvania.

Coach Mathius has an extensive coaching career, including time at Toledo Villa USL2, Lourdes University NAIA, Marygrove College NAIA, Detroit Ignition MISL/XSL, Detroit Waza Pro PASL, and Michigan Wolves USDA, ECNL.

His playing career is equally as extensive with time at UW-Green Bay - NCAA 1, Lafayette Swampcats EISL

Utah Freezz WISL, Louisiana Lightning PDL, Utah Blitzz USL League 1, San Diego Sockers MISL, Cleveland Force MISL, Chicago Storm MISL, Detroit Ignition MISL, and Detroit Waza Pro PASL.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and currently has his National B Coaching License.
