The purpose of Samba Soccer is to provide an instruction-free atmosphere for our players to express their creative abilities that they learn in training. At this age we would like to train with them as much as possible, but we understand that the opportunity for players to express themselves freely on the field develops a true passion for the game. Thus we have established an atmosphere that allows them to do so, with limited or no stoppages, instruction, or correction. The players receive that twice a week already.

This club is very much a community within itself. We have many siblings that play in the club, and we have many friends that share in the pride of the Toledo Celtics. We have alway been a close-knit club. Because of this, our players often benefit from it. Whether players get the opportunity to guest play on higher age levels to challenge themselves, or they receive the opportunity to serve and develop as leaders for the younger players, our club is very interconnected. It is for this reason that the players whom are now U8's were able to develop while playing with players on our now U10's team, and conversely those U10's grew as leaders with our U8's looking up to them. We thoroughly enjoy cultivating this development and growth. 

Finally, we have looked into other options for play in the area, and after great consideration we felt that nearby any facilities have a tendency to develop poor soccer habits (i.e. using the wall, an inability to make legitimate defensive clearances, no true out of bounds to encourage ball control, etc).
